We are a group of volunteers continuing the dreams of those who came before us. In bridging our past with our future, our mission is to empower future citizens to gain a better understanding of where Vernon has been and where it is going.
We have amassed an extensive collection of artifacts, documents, photographs, and other ephemera reflecting the historical aspects of Vernon, Florida, through donation and/or purchase. Our exhibit is located in the Vernon Old School which was built in 1931. We hope you’ll find the collection interesting, educational, and a wonderful resource for those researching their own family history.
